Refreshing even for the most ardent fans. This is where Dylan's originality comes close to genius. Unlike modern times this is where Bob has a rapport with his audience. This collecction is the heart and soul of the man.
Bad Points
Can't think of any.
General Comments
With restrictions imposed on Bob Dylan as to how many tracks he could record in a year The Bootleg Series is the safety relief that lets his full creativity flow. This isn't just songs of one man - it is a voice of the times. Fresh visions of youth and emotion captured like a perfect creature preserved in amber.
