General Comments

We have just returned from Les Orangers Beach resort in Hammamet, Tunisia.
There was myself, my partner and our two children aged 6 and 1.
Having read some negative reviews regarding this hotel, I had some reservations, but tried to keep an open mind. I am really pleased I did keep an open mind, as those negative reviews were not in my opinion warranted.
The hotel rooms could do with some upgrading. Having said that they were clean and suitable, for the amount of time you stay in them. The maids were brilliant, they continued to return to our room until the do not disturb sign was removed, and always made sure the room was clean and tidy.
The beach is absolutely beautiful! It is made even better by the abundance of food and drink available, all included in the price.
he pools and the play park are both excellent for the children, with the animation team doing a brilliant job to keep people amused throughout the day.
As usual there were the usual Brits moaning about the food. Well, if you want egg and chips, or pie and mash. don't go to Africa! The food was exceptional. The only all inclusive hotel I have stayed in where I have wanted to eat at the hotel every day. There is a wide selection! Yes sometimes it is repetitive, but if you went to a hotel in the UK and there was a buffet menu, I don't think they would change every item on it every night.
The evening entertainment was really good! There was a disco for the kids, followed by bingo (shakey shakey, mishy mishy, ratatouille, ajhar jhar!!), and then some form of entertainment from the animation team.
This is the best family holiday I have been on, and I am already considering something I have never done in the past, and returning to the same place next year.
PS Make sure you try the Paninis and spaghetti from the poolside hut!
