Playback is good quality, on the occasions it works.
Not fit for purpose, should not be on sale. Software, timer functionality and disc recognition are all useless (actually worse than useless, as very occasionally it works correctly)!
It is a disgrace that Philips have released the DVD-R610 to the public. I used to admire the engineering integrity of Philips! What went wrong?
After much argument, John Lewis have eventually refunded me.
