Good Points

Goes along at a brisk old pace If you like the Da Vinci Code then you'll like this

Bad Points

Found the first 150 pages a bit dull Interesting characters

General Comments

I read Angels and Demons by Dan Brown while I was on my jollies and I thoroughly enjoyed it! On my first holiday this year I ploughed through the Da Vinci Code and thought it was the dogs so I was eager to sample this new Dan Brown delight on my second excursion! There are definite parallels to the Da Vinci Code: Corpse mutilation in the opening scene - Check. Hot but emotionally retarded chick for Langdon - Check. Langdons bad jokes - Check. Mysterious Cult Intent on destroying religion as we know it - Check. Dogged Commander trying to uphold the law - Check. Warped psychopathic powerhouse on the warpath - Check. So it seems Dan Brown has found a successful formula and he is sticking to it. The good news is that its a gripping ride - action packed stuff from Mr Brown as ever. I found the first 150 pages a bit 'sciency', but when the plot got going I was absorbed. This book is definitely recommeded!

I will make sure to read the book, as a matter of a fact currently I am looking for it to buy it online. I found the Da Vinci Code great! And I can't wait to read this one. I see the review is great, as far as the repeatative storypoints, well it dind't stop Connan producing his Sherlock books.
