Offset banking is a fine idea. Used to be a good bank.
Rapid deterioration in product in recent months, i.e. credit card chaoticly cancelled, and you no longer get the savings rate of interest on your current account.
OK, IF sent me a letter to say that my credit card would be cancelled on 10 July. What I didn't realise was that it would totally dissappear from my online banking page. So, I now have no way of knowing how much I owe, and how I can pay it off. I emailled them to ask how I can pay off the balance, and they said it was nothing to do with them and that I should phone some number (not freephone of course). They can whistle! Needless to say, I'm moved to another bank (A+L). Should have checked this site first though.
