Bad Points
3 days in hospital with severe dehydration and not being able to go on safari with the rest of our group
General Comments
My husband and I were married in January and we couldnt have asked for a better place than Pinewood Village. Galu Beach was superb. All staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for the manager, who even came to visit me in hosptial and gave my husband a lift to and from the hospital - not many hotel managers would do that!! Food wasnt what we expected in Kenya but was still of a high standard - we also opted for a personal chef which is a great idea. The rooms were exactly what we expected, basic but clean and comfortable. Monkeys are everywhere but be careful as they can become quite forward and will just take things from your bags. Our tour rep, was fantastic and was always willing to help and give advice.
