Good Points

Compact small enough to fit into a shirt pocket (not recommended). So simple to use, controls feel solid and well laid out. 4 meg images superb and get a very good image onto paper.

Bad Points

3 times digital magnfication could be increased. Instruction booklet 16 pages. Cd Rom holds the main manual NO GOOD when outside using the camera in the field, (nicer to have a book of instruction nearby at hand)

General Comments

Bought my camera on the 28th December 2002 with a 128Mb SDcard. Simply I love this camera, if I could marry it I would. My last Digital camera a Brick (Kodak DC290) in size and weight did not produce images as good as this camera does. Today took a pcture of a woodpecker eating peanuts in my garden today and the finished printed picture is brilliant. My main use for this camera is to assist me in my hobby of metal detecting in the U.K. I use macro photography mainly and this camera brings out all the details on any coin or artefact I care to photograph. The facilities on this camera are second to none. 34 types of BEST SHOT pre set you select what scenery background and the camera does the rest for you. Manual mode you take full control. The memory card brilliant small lightweight depending on resolution selected can hold more than enough images. Downloading is QUICK and SIMPLE stored in folders date stamped for ease of access. I can't complain about anything on this camera. Bought my camera from the High street store Jessops with a 30 day take back if not sattisfied warranty. I will not be going back. Oh yes a camera bag should be included with the camera that all I have to say......

Appears to be a very honest appraisal.

I have aslo this kind of camera, but with some problem.
Whet it was long time OFF, then after ON, the left filed of the screen is purple, and needs some minutes to get right. It is not a big problem, just when I wanna make a photo in hurry, you know.
If someone colud recommend me some cure-staff, then thank you very much.
