General Comments
I have a Labrador crossed with a Border Collie, and my dog shows many Collie characteristics. She is unbelieveably loyal, which is great when she greets you, but not so great if your out of the house for long periods of time, as she gets very upset. Also, she is quite agressive towards other dogs when they come up to me, as she wants to protect me. She is clever, and quite easy to train, but this means you have to exercise her a lot to keep her occupied.
Overall Border Collies are one of the most amazing dogs, just make sure you have enough time to entertain one before diving in.
