Decent sound for the price.
The headphone jack is a rip-off.
The Logitech X-230 headphone jack on these speakers is nothing more than decoration for all it does, which is nothing. When using headphones for private listening these speakers do not process the audio from the soundcard, nor do they control the volume. The volume for the headphones has to be controlled by the volume control of your OS, as the only sound you get using headphones is what comes from your soundcard. If all your sound card puts out is low volume audio, that is all you will get through these speakers phonejack. So, if you want to use headphones you might as well just plug your headphones straight into your soundcard and save yourself the cost of these speakers. According to the Logitech website under support, Logitech designed the headphone jack on these speakers to work this way.
