Good Points

Picture quality as good as the best, though it depends as much on digital picture quality as the sets capabilities.


Bad Points

Only one bad point . . . the pencil sound bars on the TH-37PE30 produce a very compromised sound that beggers belief. Though this sound design is not (thank heavens) on all the Panasonic plasma televisions.


General Comments

Panasonic TH-37PE30B - Let down by a case of design over practicality and whoever thought of such tiny sound outputs should be shot! I have had to add speakers to get even a standard sound that this set does not produce. My advice to anyone reading this and not yet bought a plasma, avoid the pencil bars down the sides like your life depended upon it. Look for a larger sound area - the larger the better - trust me.

    Whilst looking again at my review I see someone has changed my rating of the sound quality on this plasma! I would not give it 7/10 - I rate it a nitch above 1/10

    Can someone tell me where on this site I can ask a question regarding information on copying video and dvd to dvd. I have looked till I am blue in the face!

    I would also add that customer services at Panasonic are well below standard.
