Good Points

Fall over themselves to get a sale.


Bad Points

Shoddy workmanship. Neglect. Take no responsibility for mistakes. Left me high and dry with 3 days to the wedding.


General Comments

Very poor service. Ok when you're buying. Once they've got their money, they don't like making changes. They left me with a completely ruined bridesmaid dress 3 days before the wedding. Have to pay for everything up front, alterations £75. Not very nice people to deal with.

    We indeed did have a problem with this particular customer, who purchased a flower girls dress from Debenhams and asked if we could alter the gown to fit her daughter. We did alter the gown and it fitted perfectly, a cost of £35 not £75 as stated here. However our seamstress did make a mess of the hem, which we were not aware when the customer collected her gown (The hem had a wired edge). After seeing the gown again and with some negotiation with our customer, we agreed to re-fit another gown which she had purchased from Debenhams of the same design. This time it was done perfectly, we refunded the alteration costs and paid for the gown too. The flower girl had a beautiful gown and the customers bridal gown was also lovely. This customer must have felt the same as we received a delightful bunch of flowers and a thank you which is still on display in our shop. These comments are unjust, whilst we had a problem, we did resolve it and compensated the bride also. We do not ask for money up front - all is required to order your gown is a 50% deposit, just like most other bridal shops.
    We do go out of our way to ensure a trouble free experience, sometimes mistakes such as these do happen but we will do everything in our power to resolve any issue as customer satisfaction is key to our business.
    We most certainly do not put any pressure on customers to purchase gowns, the atmosphere in our shop is friendly and relaxed.

    My daughter was married on the 28th December, a perfect Winter Wedding, with snow, sunshine, a photographer's dream! My daughter's wedding outfit and also that of the bridesmaid was supplied by Angel Brides. I can only commend both the service and standard of work to any prospective customers. My daughter enjoyed the total experience, not just the big day itself (although she positively glowed with happiness) and much of the pleasure was in the care, attention and professional advice which we received from the team, but in particular, Heidi herself.

    My daughter wore a beautiful, figure hugging fish-tail two piece Essence gown in ivory with burgundy detail. This was altered for her by the seamstress....to perfection! Angel Brides hired us a luxurious burgundy satin cloak - perfect for the Christmas Wedding Theme! The bridesmaid wore a two piece forest green gown, beautifully adorned with beads, etc and the seamstress even custom-made a short cloak in matching material, trimmed with the same diamante, bugle bead trimmings. This was all completed by the bespoke accessories/jewellery made by Miss Linz - Perfect!

    As Mother of the Bride, I have completed a once in a lifetime experience. Thanks to Heidi and Angel Brides, I hold wonderful memories which began some 16months before the big day. NEVER in that time did I feel less than confident that I was being supported by professionals with true commitment to their customers. For this I am truly grateful.......

    I disagree with this review because... this sounds so unlike my experience with Angel brides, they fell over themselves to help me and their alterations were fantastic!
