Bad Points

Incompetence, refusing to implement the 1% cashback - the only reason I applied for the card in the first place. Rejected in Tesco each week despite working elsewhere.


General Comments

Citibank Platinum Credit Card - This has to be to be the company I have had the misfortune to deal with. I applied for the Platinum card online in April following a link from their webpage that promised 1% cashback on all purchases. When the card arrived there was no mention of the cashback so I phoned and was assured that it did apply. My first statement showed zero cashback. More phone calls where they promised to implement the cashback. It never happened. They have also failed to reply to 2 secure emails and a letter by post. What confidence can you have in a company that refuses to implement what it promises on the website and is totally incapable of correcting their mistake? Avoid at all costs.
