Good Points

My Epson 1290, which I have had for five years, has stood the test of time, and has just let me down, after really only amateur use. But I have produced some stunning photos, and won a bit of money in competitions, so I am buying another. I will buy the 1290S this time, hoping I have better luck.


Bad Points

I get banding when I print black and white, but that might be because my printer is getting on a bit.


General Comments

Overall the 1290 does exactly what Epson say it does, and I use mine with a continous ink system, which makes it very economical.
