Not much info about the car. I own one, and am modifying it at the moment. I would like to see a bit more info about cars and car owners.

Apart from the drab grey interior and cloth there is not much to comment on the bad points of this legendary model. Yes you have to tick the engine over for a while in the morning not to slowly damage it by running it hard at the sub-optimal temperature but these are small matters that can be dealt with. Just get a leather trim fitted and well a Stage 3 conversion will help no end. ;)

Sorry bud, but i have to disagree with your comment about letting cossies tickover when cold, you should start them up and drive them straight away, keep the revs below 3000 until the oil has heated up (generally speaking this should take 15 minutes) then you can drive it as ford intended- Hard, just remember it's a turbo car so when your finished playing don't turn off the engine straight away, let the car tickover at rest for 5/10 minutes to let the oil cool the turbo internals, otherwise oil will carbonise inside the turbo and seriously reduce its lifespan.

I've had mine 11 years and always turned it off as soon as I've stopped. Original turbo still going. It's remapped, bigger injectors, filter, more boost etc. Its run very well for years. From what i know, the turbo will only pack in if it is run at high revs 4500-7000 for very long periods, as in racing. You must only use fully synthetic and leave it to run for 5-10 mins after racing. Fully synth can handle the excess heat better and will still be in top quality when you next use your car.
