Good Points

Quick focusing (even on manual), accurate metering, quiet operation (except for rewind). Very efficient on power use.

Bad Points

Flimsy battery door. In fact, seems like the entire camera bottom is weak.

General Comments

Been using the U.S. version (N70) off and on for about five years. Functionally, it has been very reliable (also, easy on the batteries), accurate (exposure and focusing), generally quick and quiet (except for rewind). This was the first camera I had used with an LCD readout; it WASN'T difficult to to learn once I had memorized all the symbols. Generally, except for exposure changes ("P" to "A" to "M") I do not have to mess with the settings. Handling has been mostly good, although my small hands need to stretch a bit around the grip.
The only real problem I have had with the N70 is the battery door. It is flimsy, so when I accidentally "dropped" the camera, the batteries flew out...along with the door. Nonetheless, the camera continues to work perfectly well with the door secured with plastic tape (now it's also waterproof!).
