Evening entertainment repetitive and sometimes food choice limited.


General Comments

My husband and I went on honeymoon to Merville Beach Hotel and had a fabulous time. On arrival at the hotel we had a great reception with an explanation of facilities and services. We stayed in the main building (standard room) and had a gorgeous view of the beach and pool. Our room was very clean and well presented. When we arrived it was decorated with petals and we had a fruit basket, wine and t-shirts as we were on honeymoon. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The water sports were always available and the beach was gorgeous. We went all inclusive which we definitely recommend as it would work out very expensive otherwise. Drink choice was good and included lager, wine, cocktails etc. Food was OK and alternated between themed buffet nights and table de hotĕ. The evening entertainment was not too bad the first week but by the second it was getting a bit tedious. It was mainly the hotel band and once a week Sega Dancers (they were good). Plenty of excursions to go on, definitely recommend Ile deux cocos (book with hotel as its cheaper). We had a fantastic time and would definitely stay at this hotel again.
