I was perfume shopping the other day and tried some of the Gucci Rush but was instantly overwhelmed by the strong aroma and also the fact that when you spray it it immediately and heavily sprays a LOT in just one squirt. So because of that I put it back on the shelf and kept looking. Then I came across the Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue and was fascinated by the light aroma, not overempowering at all. So I bought the Light Blue. However, as the day wore on the Gucci Rush was still overempowering, I could smell it on myself all day long. Later in the day I began to really enjoy it. It just needed to somehow calm down as the day wore on for me to actually appreciate it. It is strong at first! So I'm going to buy the Gucci Rush and just wear it for "special occasions" and somehow find a way to gently spray it but only get a small amount to flatter me.

Now I'm excited to go out and buy Gucci Rush. I miss the aroma! However, I'll continue with the Light Blue for everyday wear because I do work in an office and am surrounded by people daily so I don't want to be giving others a headache with the Gucci Rush! But I'll save the fantastic Gucci for evening outings, etc. Where...when I want to stand out! : )

    I absolutely love gucci rush, a friend of mine wore it on holiday and as the evening went cold i borrowed her jacket, the smell instantly hit me, it was gorgeous. I do agree that its a little overpowering but have had so many comments from people asking what lovely perfume i have on, i wear a fleece over my work clothes and notice day after day that i can still smell it lingering. I also use the dolce & gabbana light blue as this is a little subtle but still vote gucci rush the best perfume i have ever bought!!
