Solid design
Well balanced
None to date
Well what can I say, I purchased the .177 BSA Hornet K after two months of research, it was a toss up between the s400 and hornet and the hornet won.
And boy what an air rifle.
The main features I liked were the decocking feature. (hold down the cocking trigger then pull the trigger and release the cocking trigger slowly while holding down the trigger and the rifle is decocked) simple, the free floating barrel works a dream landing pellet after pellet on top of each other.
I've tried about 40 different pellets in mine and Crosman Premier 7.9g work the best.(had to be the dearest didn't they)
Baracuda match extra heavy came 2nd and Daystate 4.51mm a close 3rd
I'm new to pre-charged and I like it.
Reccomend getting a bottle to fill from or you'll be too cream crackered to shoot it with a hand pump.
I've got a hawke airmax 4-12 * 44 scope on medium mounts and it works well.
Look up tuckers trail on the web to see a full review on the gun well worth a read.
Using lube on pellets improves performance did a test 50 shots with and 50 shots without. Tighter groups with napier power pellet lube well worth a few quid.
You get a good 80 accurate shots per fill and with a sas silencer on the end its just a whisper in the day its so quiet.
Can't fault this gun the best 300 pounds i've ever spent.
