Good Points

Clarity, midbass, bass extension. Excellent fun all-rounder. Very light and comfortable to wear for closed headphones.


Bad Points

Nothing at the price-point.


General Comments

I bought the Sennheiser HD 201 based on HeadRoom's Top 10 recommendations, and WOW! Don't be fooled by the low price, these can easily compete with a stereo system of 10 times the price in terms of resolution. This is probably the cheapest, most fun way to get into real Hi-Fi. If you think audiophiles are simply rich gadget junkies buy a pair now and it will change the way you think of it.

I've given them 10/10 on all counts, however this is with keeping in mind the asking price. Of course there are better headphones out there.

Consider getting a good sound card, most standard stuff on PCs and laptops is junk. You will hear an improvement with a good sound card - check the PC components forum on www.head-fi.org for suggestions.
