Accurate Light Metering
Matrix metering works with AI lenses
Mirror Lock-Up
Spot-, Center- and Matrix-metering
Long-time exposure doesn't drain battery
No Cross-type autofocus
Slowest shutter-setting 4sec
No Vari-Control in 'Program-Mode'
Although it's being said, that the AF can't compete with todays HiSpeed modules, it's the only weakness that this body suffers. But if you can live without using 600mm optics for Formula 1 shootings, the Nikon F4s is a perfect body for the Pros and the Amateurs.
Bought mine for 180,-(sic!) Euros in condition 'B' at ebay and loved it from the beginning.
Maybe it's not the best body for those having only short fingers: the AE-Lock and AF-Lock buttons could be difficult to reach.
It's quite easy to use (no menus or submenus).
