Very High standard of accomodation. Excellent Breakfast. Friendly local knowledge.
Bad Points
Not a lot in the Village of Waterville. B&B located approx 1km from village.
General Comments
When we arrived we were greeted with tea/coffee with cake and biscuits by the proprieter. She gave us good advice on local restaurants and things to do in the area.
The standard of the accomodation was excellent. We had a very comfortable 6" bed. The decor in the room was of a very high standard, and had Coffe/Tea making facilities and bottled water in the room. The bed was even 'turned down' when we returned, with a chocolate placed on our pillows.
There was a good variety for breakfast (The poached eggs were cooked perfectly).
Waterville is very quiet - there are a few good restaurants, but nothing great about the pubs. There is a brilliant beach and golf course nearby. We went on a boat trip to the Skellig rocks which is spectacular - be prepared for a scary climb and make sure that you have proper footwear, and that you go to the toilet before you leave port!!! Also bring water
