Vibrations from spring, something common for all break barrel air rifles.

General Comments

I bought this Gamo Hunter 890(.177 cal.) Air Rifle on sale for $180 without scope. I have shot a lot before with the Gamo Shadow 1000 which is a very good rifle. The Hunter 890 has a better scope mount base and wood stock. Accuracy is the same as Gamo Shadow 1000. The only difference I expect for the price is the life of the spring which I will know after one year of shooting. If bought for $260 I do not think it worth its money but for $180 - absolutely - better than the Gamo Shadow 1000 or Gamo Hunter 220 or Gamo Hunter 440.

I would like to know where you purchased the 890 without a scope.

There are a few web sites that sell the 890 without the scope, one being Pyramydair air, they have it for $189.00 without the scope and $279.00 with the scope, I just purchased one today at Cobra air.com for $17400 with a 3x12x50 scope, , another one that has it without a scope is airwarehouse.com, they also have it with a 2x7x40 scope or a 3x12x50 scope.
