You will not believe how super quite this thing is compared to others. When it is running on the back patio you can't hear it on the front lawn. It sips gas. I can run it all night (6-8 hours) with my refrigerator and ceiling fan on one gallon of gas. I have been through hurricanes Erin 7 days, Opal 13 days, Ivan 11 days, and Dennis 4 days using this generator. Gasoline is next to impossible to buy after a hurricane so fuel efficiency is very important.
Cost.
I have had my Honda EU2000i for almost a year. It replaced a Coleman as the primary unit with the Coleman as a back-up. I just bought another EU2000i to replace the loud gas sucking Coleman. I live in Florida and have gone through 4 hurricanes and use these for emergency power. I have used a lot of different brands and types but I have to say I am sold on the EU2000i.
