Bad Points

After sales is absolutely awful. If you want any after sales service or goodwill do not buy from this company! After having taken your money they are not remotely interested in anything that happens with that product. Safety issue or not! I would strongly advise to pay the extra bit of money and buy from the high street!


General Comments

I bought a Mamas and Papas Pliko Pushchair from Discount Baby Brands and after having had the pushchair for four weeks the stitching on the seat fabric came undone. I rang company and was told I would have to pay £25 to send to Mamas & Papas for repair as it was not to do with them. I stitched the pushchair myself as I thought it more cost effective than returning pushchair. One week later I was in my garden with my 14 month old daughter toddling around when I found her with a plastic stud from the frame of the pushchair(about the size of a smartie)about to put it in her mouth.
I again rang company only to be told the same again. This then took about 5 weeks to arrange collection of pushchair and I made it perfectly clear that I wanted a replacement or refund. Therefore I was gob smacked to find it on my doorstop 10 days later, repaired but with an extra washer to pack out stud popper. Since then I have had countless conversations on the phone with the company going around and around in circles to basically be told it is nothing to do with them. Apparently they are tested to withstand high amounts of force so my daughter must be super strong! When I stated that my daughter could have chocked to death I was told "never mind, she didn't"! They take your money and then do not want to know.
