Good Points

Very economical for the size of the vehicle - very roomy - very practical - drives well


Bad Points

I find myself looking at the mpg indicator all the time and trying to squeeze out more mpg.


General Comments

I previously had a Citroen Xsara estate 2.0 HDI and chose the Picasso SX People Carrier because it is far more roomy and is even more practical. Although it hasnt got the performance of the estate it has enough go and you have to bear in mind that the same engine in the Picasso is pulling a bit more weight. It is an excellent family car with loads of storage space, my daughter loves the drop down shelves in the back. When the back seats are taken out it is easy to transport big items such as double mattreses and wadrobes. It is a very easy car to live with, and a decent drive.
I find though that I dont want to drive it hard and my driving style has changed to being more relaxed. As I mentioned Im being a bit sad and trying to get as much mpg as I can - I've acheived 56.4 mpg on a 60 mile round trip to work which includes A roads and dual carriageways. Its also great to sit and relax in the middle back seat and rest both legs on the front armrests! I know that this engine will last because I did 90,000 in my xsara estate with no problems at all.
