Tiscali Disk corrupted ISP set up on NEW PC
Accelerator crashed many a time
Speeds dropped from 68kps to 44kps
Difficult email page
No duplicate record check, you can set up several anytime accounts.
Tiscali search has a "Intrusion" on it, causing tons of problems
Cut offs
Customer/Tech services don't read full email


General Comments

Tiscali (www.tiscali.co.uk) are new, new ISP, great I thought. Clicked on the Tiscali Icon on the Desktop and nothing happened. So launched the CD - start of my problems, ended up caling India 3 times to try and manually attach the Dialler - It worked on the 3rd time, why the first person couldn't do it all, I don't know.
Launched accelerator - great "Broadband Speeds", I didn't expect 2mbs, but got 66kbs, very quick - over the 1st week this has dropped to 37kbs, but now at 44kbs.
Ended up restoring the PC, this caused me to start the dialler sign in again, I accidentally created anothe Anytime account, but have cancelled this since. Ooops.
Email - now that is very much going back to the ark - it poorly set out, attachments take ages. A
The Tiscali search, has an intrusion on it - Why? I jumped to Yahoo and lost the intrusion straight away - I also ensured both XP firewall & Norton's are on. The intruson caused page not found errors.
How come I can get cut off, when inputting to a file?
Each time I get to contact c/s or tech services, I get an email back saying a load of rubbish and not actually reading what my email said - ie, I contacted them about the missing dial up icon, and was sent instructions on how to connect to the internet, with the first sentence starting "Sorry to here you have lost your internt connection.." Hang on - how did I contact them, yep throught the internet!

And I've booked broadband - guess, I'll cancel that before it comes.

    After cancelling Broadband, I had an email, noting I had been in touch, asking me to contact the cancellation team again, this I did to find it was cancelled.....
