Bad Points

If you're into trendy and/or fruity-florals, pass this by; also, it doesn't last very long. Some may find its scent too old-fashioned, others may find it too out-dated.

General Comments

Though I don't wear it, I've been a fan of Shalimar since I was a child. Shalimar Light is a more subtle version of the original--it maintains a nice smell, yet isn't as strong and overpowering as Shalimar can be. It takes some time for the citrus to make itself known; the first scents I noticed were amber, sandalwood and tuberose. Eventually the vanilla and lemon/lime surface just a little, and it's a lovely combination. I think Shalimar Light is a nice and unobtrusive fragrance that would be good for working in a classroom or a small office. It doesn't linger or last long, so it wouldn't bother anyone. However, I wouldn't recommend it as a date perfume...especially if you like bold, flirty, or seductive scents.
