The camera is small, light and easy to figure out.
Bad Points
We get lots of red eye, which is OK if you're printing pictures from your computer, but not from a printer. Lens cover tends to jam lots.
General Comments
We baby our camera's and have never had the problems that we have had with the HP PhotoSmart 812. We are on our 3rd camera and are expecting another one from the repair center today... they have had it for 2 weeks after quoting us a 2-3 day turn around. They keep sending us refurbished camera's... one which quit working as soon as I turned it on the first time! I have never been so fed up with a company and will NEVER buy or recommend another HP product.
