Good Points

Maytag/Fedders window A/C: It ran for 2 years.


Bad Points

Maytag/Fedders window A/C: The temperature control and condenser went out at 2 years and the warranty service is horrible.


General Comments

Air Conditioner - 12,000 BTU: It has been over 2 months, and the only authorized warranty service vendor in the area still has not fixed this unit. After about 32 calls, most of which were not returned, and numerous lies about whether the part had been ordered, was or was not delivered, and 5 no-show appointments to diagnose or pick up the unit, I am disgusted. They still have my unit, maybe I will never see it again. The Fedders 1-800 customer service will not return calls, the email address will not respond, and the Fedders headquarters person who promised to call back to get the facts has not done so. Judge for yourself.
