I'm not that keen on the BT Voyager, because I have had numerous problems with it, and have had to uninstall and reinstall it countless times. I don't know if I am just unlucky, but it keeps saying that there is no modem present!!!

I reccomend that you try reinstalling your modem drivers - that solves all sorts of problems you may have with the BT Voyager 105.

I have been attempting to install BT Voyager 105 daily for 2 weeks with talk through help from ISP who provided it and have still not been able to get it to work on my rig.

I have a speedtouch 330 on loan and it works perfectly, I have tried the voyagers, 2 of them as a replacement was sent in case of fault, on other computer and it worked fine but will not stop training erratically on my AMD Athlon 1600+, Windows XP, 512 Gb memory, 80 GB hard drive machine.
Have tried absolutely everything, swapping cables, filters, modems, direct from master socket, but the voyager will not work.

I've got AMD Athlon 2400+, XP, 512mb DDR and 120gb, and it works just fine. It's a real shame that it's still not working with you. What ISP are you with then?

I am with Force 9 and they have given up trying, I have tried everything, new drivers, all combinations of any 2 filters from 4 with each of two cables and with each of two modems from the 2 packs sent in case it was a fault with the equipment.
After trying both modems on another computer everything was OK with both of them, but still would not stop training on my rig.
I kept getting either no modem, or training, and DSL light just kept flashing very erratically.
Force 9 have now just deducted cost of modem from package and left me to buy a Speedtouch 330 myself.

I can only assume that it is something to do with the power output on my USB ports as I have tried all 4 ports with the same result.

Tried direct from master socket with no extensions as well.
This may only show that the Voyager 105 is not a bad modem but the problem is with my equipment so I would not condemn the Voyager.

You should be able to download AOL 8.0 off the AOL website, but of coarse you have no online access. :(
Isn't there anyone who has a computer that can let you go round there and download the file onto a CD-R or something? If not, try going on a public computer and contacting AOL via email, asking them for the old 8.0 browser pack.
