Good Points

Easy to use. Looks good.

Bad Points

Pathetic battery life. Extremely faulty.

General Comments

The battery life for the Apple iPod has never been good, it is now terrible. It often crashes. Everytime it is used it stops playing and starts on one specific playlist at random. Turns on automatically even if switched off and on hold.

    Mark;
    I read your remark about your ipod turning on automatically. Have you found a solution for this? My daughters is doing the same thing even when she turns it off and puts it on hold. Also the songs seem to jump and constantly shuffle.
    Any help appreciated.

    Nancy, I'm afraid I haven't had any luck. I don't really use it much anymore as it's so irritating when I do. I'm trying to find a contact email address to complain (undoubtedly without success) but there doesn't seem to be one. The phone number, if you want, is 08708760753.

    Sorry I can't help. Let me know if you have any joy.

    Folks, if you bought your iPods in the last 12 months they are both still under warranty, return them to apple and they will replace them.

    According to the Mac Service Centre you need to reset your iPod to solve the 'turn on automatically problem", Here's how to do that: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=61705
