Good Points

An MPV which is fun????
The Multipla is great to drive (particularly the desiel) and hillarious to look at. It really does have Italian flair and is incredibly well designed for its purpose.
Parking is simple despite the width and its handling is very good, particularly on versions with all round disc brakes.
With 3 adults in the front it is very sociable, particularly at work where 'the junior' is not shoved in the back. My kids love the 'Fat Frog' and even clean it!!
Aside from the house my car is my biggest capital investment and easily the worst value one. My view is that at least it should be fun and this is a car full of character. A modern day Morris Minor?

Bad Points

The seat material is not great - stains clean off with a wash but until then they do show up stains easily. With kids this is silly.

There is a blind spot at the rear quarter which is not unusual in cars but very disconcerting in a car with huge mirrors and virtualy all round glass.

Backache - the gear stick on the dash board gives problems. I am tall and it means a twist to reach it. Other drivers at 6ft or so seem to have similar problems.

General Comments

Reliabilty
The Fiat Multipla 1.6 ELX People Carrier is very good but avoid Fiat main dealers as on the whole they are terrible.

The wipers leave the far left passenger looking through an unwiped part of the sceen. If there were wipers that cleared both sides this would be far better.
