Good Points

Very nice design, lovely features like CODE MEMO, large phone book with the ability to store many numbers under one entry. Very soothing display backlight colour; nice fading in/fading out of the backlight.

General Comments

I bought this phone from an Ericsson authorized dealer here in Chennai in December 2002 and I had my phone exchanged today because the text size was not changing for the call list and SMS inbox! The battery life was low on the 1st phone but on the new phone too, it is the same. As another user had mentioned on this website, after a full charge, the phone does not show more than 179hours standby time, which is far less than the 300 hours stated in the manual. I too understand that the standby and talk time are dependent on the network's signal strength but it should not have such a drastic difference. I talk a maximum of 30-40 minutes a day totally, and the battery lasts hardly for 1 to 1.5 days. This is really disappointing. I chose this phone because the battery life was very good. I read many reviews on the net and decided on this phone after seeing the features and battery life .... but no luck. Even the replaced phone has the same battery life. Everything else is excellent in the phone - features, call quality, menu navigation and so on. Anyone who has any ideas on this problem, please email me at narayangopalan@yahoo.com.     what the hell the battry life is low?? ive got a t65 and the talk time is over 8 hours and even with mild use only need to charge it up once a week!!! where do u get ur info from???

    Hey, I just read your comment on my review of the Ericsson T65. Sorry man .... you seem to have had good luck and you say the talk time is more than 8 hours. However, my phone's battery does not last for more than 1.5 days with even medium usage. This is the fact as I have been using the phone for more than 4 months now. Any other ideas, please do mail me or post it on the website. Thanks !

    strange! my t65 only takes about an hour to fully charge from flat, then it will last for anything up to 11hours of talk time, are u sure urs is working right??
