S L O W... It is impossibly low to turn on and lock on to an image
General Comments
My last camera was a Olympus OM2s. The Nikon Coolpix 995 "camera" can not hold a candle to the old one. Not as good as a image and so slow. the menu take for ever to change items on it. My Olympus, I could pick up and look through the viewfinder and shoot. This I have to turn on and wait. Then if your subject is moving it is almost impossible to get a sharp picture. With a tripod the pictures are acceptable if subject isn't moving. There is almost no chance of using manual if any thing in the subject is alive and breathing.
I am comparing this to my Olympus since it is what I replaced with the 995.
