Good Points

Big, spacey, fairly reasonable exterior for a ''box''. I thought that it would be slow and cumbersum but its a fairly agile beast. I feel cramped in my Volvo 940 which it replaced. Dealership (MKAutorama) is 110% and with 5yr warranty all the little niggles are sorted out no problem . Reliable with 34k in 2.5 yrs of driving conditions ranging from deep snow to pulling a boat trailer. Great towcar!!! All for 14.8k otr with aloys for 2l tdi. Its twice as reliable as my Volvo, cheaper on fuel, cheaper to insure and cheaper on servicing. Its not a sports car but can easily be driven up to top speed of 110 (abroad of course) and cruises all day at 90 with a roofbox. Tyres still good with 4mm left at 34k. Great headlights. Lots of thoughtfull goodies such as spec holder and coin tray.


Bad Points

Indicator stalks on different sides from all my other vehicles so you indicate with windscreen wipers. Some road noise which needs muffling. Drivers seat a little to hard for my personal tastes. Diesel takes hours to fill which is embarrasing at busy pumps.


General Comments

The Hyundai Trajet GSi TD diesel People Carrier is a real working bus. Its not a sports car but who carrys fridges and washing machines home in a sports car!! Fuel consumption lower than stated figures but its worked hard in my case. Its a disposable car in my case. 5yrs warranty and no worries and chop it in. Saying that its got more than 5 yrs life in it as its heavily built. Its the first car that I have not ''worshipped'' and treated it like a workhorse it was built for and it does the job 100%. The servicing at MKautorama is 100% better than Volvos and the salesmen didn't treat me like an idiot when I bought the car. OK they try and sell me a car every time I go for a service but they are more like friends and dont ram it down your throat. Buy another Hyundai?? yep and watch out as Chrysler/ Benz own 10% of the Hyundai setup and Hyundai are the largest peoducer of commercials in Asia so reliability is proven.
Trajet designed in Germany with many bosch parts etc. Watch out for the new Kia sedona this year designed to compete with the voyager so the trajet will also be updated as well soon after.
