Good Points
I found the Screen Performance Excellent, easy to use and did what it was supposed to do.
Good Features on sound output via headphones

Bad Points
The sound is quite poor, although most will use good quality headphones which makes a huge difference. Battery life does not give 3 hrs more like just under 2

General Comments
I searched for a decent portable DVD for over a month, and they all seem to share the same failings, and that is poor quality sound, but at least the Toshiba SD-P1400 does have stereo speakers which at mid sound level is OK.
