Food is good, decor is great, garden is lovely
Service is dreadful, attitude of management is extremely arrogant, garden closes at 10pm, not open Sunday night.
Twickenham, Modern British, Austin's Bar and Restaurant - I organised for 30 of my friends and family to meet up at Austins to celebrate my birthday in what would otherwise have been a deserted Sunday evening in Austins....I had a great night, but this was down to the company rather than the venue. The management were extremely unpleasant. It was a real shame as all my previous visits (at least 6) have been faultless which was why I arranged to go there. A lot of my friends that were there live in and around Twickenham and it was their first visit and they've all said they wouldn't return. I don't know that was going on, but there was a definite "atmosphere" and all the bar tabs had additional drinks and service added to them (such a shame as this is technically my local!).....my scores reflect this visit.
