Good Points

Good looking, easy to use, good sound, high storage capacity.


Bad Points

Fragile LCD, too easily has technical problems.


General Comments

When it is working the iPod plays beautifully and is easy to use.

However 2 problems with the iPod are:

1. It easily has technical problems i.e. corrupt disk, and you may have to reset it many times losing your data on it (if you haven't backed it up elsewhere)

2. The warranty/extended service program will not cover any iPod with a damaged LCD (which can easily be damaged even sitting in your bag) regardless of whether the current problem is related to the damaged screen or not.

In sum, while in peak form the iPod plays well and gets the job done, it could do with a better protected or a more durable LCD screen and a more comprehensive warranty i.e. Apple should still examine an iPod under warranty to determine why an issue has occurred even if there is minor physical damage.
