General Comments

I've been using my Talon SS Air Rifle for about a year now, and I'm still quite in love with it. As far as PCP rifles go, this is a great way to get into the PCP scene. It's an easy rifle to work with and get a feel for the complexities of air/shot consistency. It's great for a tuner's rifle. Hammer, valve and trigger modifications are a snap to do, disassembly is intuitive and the sparse amount of parts makes for a very strong system. There are only two o-ring seals on the entire rifle so maintenance is a breeze.

Accuracy wise, it shoots better than I can. One hole groups at 25 yds are pretty standard. Beyond that, 1" groups at 50 yds is pretty achievable. I'd recommend getting this rifle in .22 cal. The weight of pellets and the power behind the powerplant just mesh well together.

This rifle is highly customizable, and easily accepts tons of accessories. Mine has a flashlight, bipod, laser, bubble level, vertical forearm grip and a 3 point sling. And I still have one more rail that I can use! I've also put in a new hammer and higher quality o-rings that seal better and last longer.

The community for Talon owners is incredible, with lots of support and tons of machinists who will be happy to help you create the exact gun you want. Grips, barrels, new cocking knobs, etc. This rifle is one of the most active communities I've experienced.

For all of its tactical/military appearance, it really should have a multishot clip, but that's just me.

Also, your neck gets really tired if you don't have high mounts or use a riser of some sort like the Air Force tri-rail or a B-Square riser. On the subject of mounts, if you don't use a riser or tri-rail, you'll want to use one piece mounts as the scope rail has a tendency to flex under stress. Anything you can do to add rigidity to the frame will help.
