So many people study Spanish, but the vast majority of those who do NEVER actually get to the point of being able to carry on a conversation with a Spanish speaker.

What too often happens is that they spend a great deal of time on grammar and verb conjugations ad infinitum, build a limited vocabulary.

The other problem is something that is normal for all of us:
