I have just returned from my 2nd stay at Pefki Island Resort and once again it was lovely.

The rooms are very spacious (email prior to arrival to request a room in the new block and any further requirements you would like eg sea view, top floor) and have a TV, kettle, toaster, 2 hobs, fridge, hairdryer and the bathroom has a shower with curtain.

The apartments are just a short walk away from the main beach - through the neighbouring hotel grounds and there is a supermarket only steps away.

Pefkos itself is very relaxed with a lovely beach, numerous tavernas and restaurants (our favourite being Enigma)and is a great base for travelling. We hired a car for 6 days and managed to see the whole of the island - and Pefkos seemed to be the all round best resort.

A few places to visit are Rhodes old town - just like being in a film set, Epta Piges (7 springs) which on a hot day is beautifully cool, has dozens of roaming peacocks and the walk through the tunnel to a lagoon is certainly unique. We also enjoyed the beaches of Stegna (like being in the Caribbean), Tsambika (can get very windy) and St Pauls bay in Lindos where the water is always clam - great for swimming in.

Lindos is only a 5 minute drive away and is lovely to walk round in the evening - very hot during the day and very noisy at night.

I can't rate Pefkos highly enough.
