General Comments

We have just returned from a glorious two week holiday to the Efem apartments in Icmeler in Turkey with First Choice, and all we can do is praise them.
On arrival at London Gatwick, we were shocked to find so many check in desks available, and all with staff behind them.
The last time we went to Turkey there was one desk and a queue a mile long, (not with first choice I must add).
We stood in line for about 10 minutes, and then were called forward. When we got to the desk the lady behind the counter informed us our flight had not been opened yet, one quick phone call later and the flight was opened and we were all set for our holiday.
The flight was called on time and after a long old walk to the gate, we were ready to go. After just 5 minutes we started to board.
This is without doubt the quickest we have ever been processed with any company.
The flight was ready to go 30 minutes before it was due to leave, so off we went ahead of schedule.
We made great time and arrived another 40 minutes faster due to a good prevailing wind (apparently).
Customs was a doddle, about 5 minutes, and out to the waiting First Choice transfer reps.
There were several reps all directing where to go and who to book in with, all the coaches were clearly marked and very comfortable.
1 hour 35 minutes later we arrived at our apartment, and were checked in within minutes and all that was left was the usual welcome meeting.
The resort rep was bang on time, (a really nice young lady called Gaynor) the meeting in our case lasted about 2 minutes as we always go to this resort, so now our holiday started.
The apartments were the best we have stayed in, plenty of room nice and clean and a swimming pool you could canoe in, and in Icmeler thats very unusual.
The location was spot on, just outside the main resort centre, so at night it was nice and quiet and had plenty within a 5 minute walk if you wanted it.
The staff are all very nice and will do anything to make your holiday what you want it to be.
Anyway back to First Choice, the return leg of our holiday was just as good as the outward journey. We were picked up bang on time in a very nice coach, even more plush than the inward one.
We arrived at Dalaman airport with plenty of time to spare and began the process of getting through the security gates,(this is the most secure airport in the world)unless your flying, you cant get in.
The check-in took about half an hour and then through to departures, we were called earlier than we expected because all the passengers had been processed, so no reason to hang around.
We were boarded and in the air 20 minutes before departure time, so again we were ahead and yet again the flight was quicker than it was meant to be,(i think they must get a bonus for being ahead of schedule ha ha).
Arrived back at Gatwick 40 minutes early and collected our cases in about 10 minutes, so all in all a damn good service from First Choice and one we are using again in September when we will be going back to the same apartments.
So thank you First Choice for a wonderful holiday.
