General Comments
Having just purchased an 008 to replace my r380 I was surprised at just how capable a device it is. Mega useful pda features plus gprs and java downloads up to 2mb. The whole device is not much bigger than a v50 yet has a much better spec than any thing else on the market. A friend has a nokia 9210 which is absolutely massive, has no touchscreen or gprs and cost 6 times as much, no contest. I can wholeheartedly recommend the 008 as you are likely to pick one up as a bargain as it is now discontinued. Mine cost me the glorious sum of £99

Had the phone about three days now and the only doubts I have are the size and the functionality of the touch display, I am discovering something new everyday but I am sure they could have made it a bit flatter?

I agree with "Webby" about everything but the plasticky finish, I was of the same opinion until after a couple of days I noticed the peel off protective film which was disguising the metallic finish.
