General Comments
Puerto Pollensa, Romantic Hotel - The holiday was great. The accommodation was basic, but that was what we'd paid for and that was what we expected. However, the rooms were clean and we had everything we needed.



The hotel staff were very good and helped us to book some excursions. we took the family to Western Water Park, which was probably the best family day out available. It was excellent. I would recommend it to anyone because there were so many choices. My wife and I enjoyed the shows (especially the diving show) and the kids loved the slides. The guide on the bus was very informative and very helpful. We also went to marineland, which again, is great for families. We had the full day there, which was good because it was packed. The guide on the bus (it was the same one as Western park) even gave us discount tickets for the pedaloes on the beach and recommended a good breakfast.



We found it much cheaper to book the excursions at the reception than with the rep because for one, the rep was very rarely there, and for two, we saved about 70€ in total on the three trips we booked compared with the prices of First Choice. The company the hotel work with are called No Frills Excursions and we owe them a lot for making our holiday really fun.



The resort of Pollensa was very nice (when we were in resort and not out on some trip or other). It has a nice harbour and a good atmosphere around the main square. We also found the Pine Walk (on our last day!) which was a walk along the promenade with lots of greenery - very pleasant.



We would definitely return and would recommend both the hotel and the resort, although we went to Alcudia one day and liked that resort too.
