Good Points

Clean, spacious rooms, very friendly staff, good evening entertainment.


Bad Points

Out of season, Costa Teguise is very quiet and this hotel is quite a way from the main town (although taxis are very cheap).


General Comments

Costa Teguise, Barcelo Suites - We were disappointed with our stay here. The hotel is currently undergoing major refurbishment which we were not advised about, i.e. no restaurant, gym, sauna and pool bar being demolished. The food was of a very poor standard and very repetitive, possibly due to the works going on. Staff persevered and did the best they could and you can tell that the hotel is normally of a very good standard and worth its 4* rating - just not while we were there. Special mention for cleaners who tidy rooms and make beds, change linen, etc., every day without fail.
