Good Points

Boarding was easy. The first picture prior to boarding was neat. We felt at ease and already beginning to feel the excitement of the cruise. The staff and their international composition was a wonderful experience. Our room was perfect and constantly maintained with clean sheets, towels, toiletries, vacumming and arranging. The towel animals were wonderful to see at the end of the afternoon. The main dining area was great and the service was unbelievable! The alternative dining areas aboard the ship were great. The activities ranging from swimming, sunning, entertainment, casino, and lounging were all fun. The ports of call (Cozumel and Calica) were both fun and exciting. The staff and locals made the excursion(s) very memorable. Leaving the ship was easy and organized.


Bad Points

There were no bad points on the cruise. We will go again within the next year.


General Comments

Carnival cruise, Ecstasy - I could list the staff members by name; however, we did that on our cruise survey form the evening before returning. I will say that the experience with the cruise staff, from the attendants, stewards, bartenders, photographers, spa masseuir, dining lead waiter and assistant, was exceptional and left us with a great sense of satisfaction. We spent less than we expected to for the tickets and spent exactly what we wanted to for our excursion(s) and spent exactly what we budgeted for on other out of pocket expenses. At the end of the trip we were actually in the black! We will be going again within the next year and highly recommend the "cruise" as an ideal way to spend a week of vacation time. The Ecstasy was simply fabulous!
