Really compact, excellent price, is actually capable of playing DVDs full of Mp3s (burned as a data disc), is one of those DVD players that does everything it says it does and also a few more.

The only minor niggle I found with this would be that the on board speakers aren't that great, but this is a problem that is very easily rectified through headphones.

Following my CD/MP3 players death a few weeks ago I was at first looking into the Ipod market for it's replacement. It dawned on me, however, that £150 for a device that holds 4gb of music is kind of a bit pricey since a single DVD disc can hold 4.7gb on it's own. So I decided to see if any of the portable DVD players are capable of reading standard filesystem-burned discs containing masses of MP3s. Having tried loads (along with a few household non-portable ones which also couldn't do the job) I stumbled across this one which did it with ease (and a really easy to use menu system as well).

A quick search online and I found one for £85 from Novatech.co.uk who delivered in 2 days and provided a fantastic service.

I've used this so far on film DVDs as well as MP3 DVDs and I have to say that it is also as impressive. The picture is clear and it seems to play everything without a hitch. Multiregion out of the box and generally a great buy. Battery life of around 3 hours I've found so I will be getting a spare battery for longer train journeys etc. Can't really fault it for such a bargain price!
