Excellent picture definition and clarity, particularly on DVB (Digital TV). Very easy to set up channels - all automatic. Good speakers.

Not easy to mount on the wall.

A great picture, with vivid colours and definition. The Panasonic TH42PE50-WAL has easy on-screen menus to select your preferred settings.
The automatic channel set up works well (Freeview is built in), and links in smoothly with Panasonic DVD/VCR's. Looks fantastic on the wall, and is thin enough not to stick out too much when you come into the room. A great TV.
This is the wall mounted model, and the wall bracket that came with it did not easily fit the mounting bolts on the TV. I had to sand down the paint on the bracket to get it to fit, and the dimensions on the fitting instructions were wrong - I recommend using your own tape measure on the actual TV with the bracket attached (lay it face down) and getting it right first time - it's too late when it's up! Remember - it is definitely a two person job. Also, the mains lead is short if you want to mount it high on the wall (eg above a fireplace), so bear this in mind.
