General Comments
I bought the Alba DVD 108 xi at Argos. What an absolute gem at the bargain price of £70. It comes complete with batteryies and scart lead, that's worth ten quid on its own. I connected the player with the supplied scart and I had no set up problems at all. The player plays VCD with following hack. Press the following key sequence program enter program goto 1 or what ever program you want to play. The playback quality with DVD is excellent, audio CD play very well also. I have not tested Mp3 playback, this is something I would not use any way. All in all a real winner if you want a functional DVD on a budget.
