Good Points

Good quality recording.


Bad Points

To many to list. Faulty clock. Record timer unreliable. Remote layout and use a joke. Noisey. Powers up, switches off on its own. When deleting a recorded session, machine would lockup, rendering the disc unreadable.


General Comments

Tried firmware update. Still had problems. Why haven't Philips recalled the DVD-R610 model? There are some serious issues that need addressing. I put up with the faults for 6 months. Returned it to Makro, who exchanged to for a Sony. I am very reluctant to buy any other Philips Product.
Not recomended.
